If you installed the PWM Filter # VGR64VR on your Furrion Camera System # FOS05TASF and you're still having issues then I recommend unpairing the camera and monitor and redoing the pairing process. I also recommend checking the antenna and ensuring that it's fully screwed into the camera and facing up. With a 492' range it shouldn't really matter but it's worth trying.

To correct the issue the couple is having powering LED trailer lights with their 2020 GMC Sierra Denali 2500 I recommend going with the Trailer Connector Adapter w/ Lamp-Out Sensor Bypass # 20142 due to it being a simple plug and play adapter that installs in the vehicle's 7-way connector and you simply plug the trailer's 7-way connector into it. If you still have a portion of the latch for the Curt Pop-In Ball # C60629 protruding out of the top of the ball you can try to grab it with pliers, pull up and rotate it to unlock the ball bearings. Depending on how long the ball has been in the bed there may be some surface rust inside the ball which would make it difficult to operate. You can spray some penetrating oil in the ball to try and free the ball.

I'm not sure which brake controller you purchased from us that you're referring to, though when a controller won't work except when using the manual override the issue is often on the red wire - the stop light wire - which sends a signal to the brake controller. You'll need to use circuit tester # PTW2979 to test the stop light switch wire, which is the wire that only gets power when you step on the brake pedal.

It is completely possible to have gained the functions of your turn and stop lights and tapped into the wrong wire for running lights. The wire you want to tap into for your running lights is in the 11 o'clock position as you look at the outside of the connector (or the 1 o'clock position when viewing the back of the connector. I recommend using some penetrating lubricant on the drivers side jaws of the B&W Companion OEM 5th Wheel Hitch # BWRVK3700. The passenger side is forced open by the cam in the handle. My guess is that the jaw may have some surface rust or corrosion that has caused it to stick.

Sometimes hitches can get slightly bent during shipping and this can be fixed by bending the hitch back into place as long as the hitch only has a slight bend to it. If yours isn't lining up I can almost guarantee that is what happened. Some people will use open steps for leverage, vices and even car jacks to apply controlled force to bend the hitch back. In your case you could start all of the bolts and then torque them all down to allow the hitch to bend back into place.

There is a connector that some vehicle's require to use LED trailer lights which is # C35FR for 7-way to 5-way/4-way or # 20142 for 7-way to 7-way. The way you would know if you need one of these adapters is your vehicle would display an error code when plug in to the trailer due to LED lights having such a low amp draw compared to incondessiant lights.

Based on my research and information from the 2015 GMC Sierra 2500's owner's manual, the "check trailer wiring" message means that either a trailer with electric brakes has disconnected from the Sierra, or there is a short in the wiring to the trailer's electric brakes. How far did you adjust them? Since some adjustment helped noticeably it would seem that more adjustment would get you where you need to be. Typically you want to tighten them until there's a noticeable drag that you can hear as you turn the wheel by hand. It's also possible the brake assemblies are self-adjusting which would mean that with every application they'll click tighter and tighter until they are fully adjusted and would be as powerful as you'd need. As you only have the passenger side not working it sounds like their is either damage to the wiring or the step motor. First you will want to use a Test Light # PTW2993 to check for power on the harness of the Aries ActionTrac Motorized Running Boards # AA3047902. It sounds like the shank on the weight distribution system you have does not offer enough drop adjustment, which is causing your trailer to not be level.
Depending on the weight distribution system you have you can purchase a different shank like the Curt Weight Distribution Shank # 17120 that will allow up to 5-3/4 inch drop for a trunnion system to help get your trailer level. Some factory trailer brake controllers are not compatible with trailers that use an electric-over-hydraulic actuator such as # HBA-10.
